What is Believers Peace about…..a journey in search of peace, and happiness, and Truth. It is a place for writing, and reading; to gather at the river, and pray. It is, I guess, a documentary of sorts……of the life Jesus gives me each day, and the ways in which I give back….and to share something of that journey-to go and tell what Jesus has done for me-is not too much to ask.
My name is Michelle, and I am the writer behind believerspeace. I have this idea that believers will come together, to strengthen, and edify. And it will be Truthful, honest, and real. There will be healing inspiration and tears. LIFE and all it’s glory does see gray clouds and tempest spawning on horizons….and IN THESE TIMES the only certainty is found in TRUTH. Illusion will one day step aside, and the heart of the matter -GOD”S MERCY-will be all we have.
Writing and research and seeing and hearing and reflecting and relaying have all been introspective ways for me to come back down to earth, regroup, and press on as the ‘real me’ that I hope Jesus loves. So I come here, to believerspeace, and offer what I can to the journey. I fumble often, and hope to never offend, or pose a stumblingstone in anyone’s journey. I try to walk softly, and carry a big stick, and see this world thru His loving eyes rather than thru my own broken vision. Really though, if my words offend, believe it is not intentional. People may disagree with what I say, how I feel, what I believe, because people are free-thinkers and uniquely stationed. The purpose is to build on what we have in common (NOT to be confused with the ecumenical movement) and to better serve the church whom Jesus loves. I welcome anyone to share any or all of their journey here. No one of us is fashioned to live as a ‘one-man show’. Let us be peaceful though, and speak easy. In our honesty let us encourage rather than tear down. In our pursuit of Peace and Wisdom let us be mindful of His Word, where He says in James ch. 3 v 17,18
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrsiy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. “
