Watchman, what of the night? Watchmen, what of the night? The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.” Isaiah 21:11, 12
Jesus loves you and nothing else matters. At the end of your journey (here) I hope you will be in His Peace, and in His presence. That’s the bottom line of it all really. If I said I’d found it, in the entirety and surety that True Peace affords, I would be lying. This is just my journal of what I see and believe and witness and hope for.
Jesus told us to go out and tell the Good News of His salvation and what He has done for us along the Way. Jesus Christ came to reconcile the world to God. He came to save sinners because there was no other way for them to be saved. How will the lost come to Jesus unless they hear His Word?
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed: and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:14-17
Mark 12:30-34 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou has said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.
Let Love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; distributing to the necessity of the saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in doing so thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12: 9-21
It’s time to BE REAL as we seek His Way His Truth and His Peace….for ourselves and for the world He so loves. ~M
I Thessalonians 3:11-13 Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you. And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: to the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
